INSPIRED ERROR: new phrase among JW CO
by wannaexit inthere is no end to their madness.
the co gave a talk on inspired error.
i have never heard of it.

3. IF YOU SAY: the end is coming but not in my lifetime---inspired error. Can't say that because the end can come at any moment.
That's only a control mechanism to whip the rank and file in line. Of course the average JW has to believe that.
and with higher education, they want the rank and file to remain stupid, naieve. At University is where one really develops critical thinking abilities. More evidence to evolution is promoted. University is a place where one is taught to use a human's greatest inheritance, their brain. Nuff said!

Blatant apostates did they ever rescue anyone from the cult?
by Crazyguy inwe have all heard about ones who have left and became seriously opposed.
did they have any success in getting anyone out like thier families or is going full appostate a waste of time when it comes to rescuing family and friend's?

I tend to agree with the sentiment with apostates who hang-out in convention parking lots yelling at JW's or crashing memorial does nothing. But I think it only strengthens the JW's and their resolve.
If someone is having doubts and wanting to leave the ''truth'', the best way is read apostate sites, books and videos. I think that people should seek out apostates quietly and under the radar and fade, if possible. Instead of apostates yelling at people in arena parking lots, I believe it has an adverse affect on them(the apostates)

Dubbers now sitting in flea markets to count time. Dont even try to pawn mags.
by dogon inevery flea market i go to a group of idiots sits under a tent top with a few mags on display with a cup of coffee playing on a phone with as much interest in pushing the cult as a teenage girl at the check out line has in bagging your groceries.
when i was in the cult we had to work for our time.
now its like sitting at the coffee shop bsing with the other cult idiots counting time for your pioneer status.

Seems to be the pioneer pace. Walk the walk ever so slow, now just moving ever slower by just sitting there. -

Money woes show it ain't the truth
by OnTheWayOut injehovahs people do not beg for money.
[...] we have never considered it proper to solicit money for the lords cause, after the common custom .
it is our judgment that money raised by the various begging devices in the name of our lord is offensive, unacceptable to him, and does not bring his blessing either upon the givers or the work accomplished.

Music and videos very mind controlling.
That video of that little girl giving her money is very impressionable on young minds. To control young minds let's say of age group 4-13. I think that in itself will start to make most Dubs wonder.

We missed you at the meetings
by punkofnice ina vomit inducing comment.. i asked why do they have to specify 'meetings'?
they never miss us in tesco or the showcase cinema bar.. in their defence, a friend of mine said: 'that's because the meeting is where they normally would see you.'.
well, if they want to see you they can arrange a meal out or something.

Jonestown Survivor Quote
by cappytan in"...when our own thoughts are forbidden, when our questions are not allowed and our doubts are punished; when contacts & friendships outside of the organisation are censored, we are being abused for an end that never justifies its means.
when our heart aches knowing we have made friendships and secret attachments that will be forever forbidden if we leave, we are in danger.
when we consider staying in a group because we cannot bear the loss, disappointment and sorrow our leaving will cause for ourselves and those we have come to love, we are in a cult.

'' We all must be ready to obey any instructions we receive whether or not they seem strategic from a human standpoint or not''.
I really think the Borg and it's ways are not far off from that of Jonestown, just a hop skip and jump from Jonestown.

Are cults a hidden epidemic? Great interview...
by StarTrekAngel inhere is a great interview from 2013 between various cult ex members and experts, including mr hassan.
one thing i was surprised to hear is that the word cult is now considered "politically incorrect".
someone mentioned this on another thread and i made the comment that i suspected cults themselves had something to do with it.

Signs of cults definately isolate members from outsiders. They tell you who you can associate with, what you can listen to, what you can wear, how to groom yourself. It's those who are inside which fail to see they are in a cult, denial. -

Don't let that Borg mind set fear you. There probably is no Armageddon. At least not by how the JW's proclaim it.
